At Briar, we love to showcase the inspiring and dedicated efforts of individuals who are making a difference. Today, we are excited to bring you the story of Leanne Shakespeare, one brave individual who is taking to the skies in the name of charity. On 10 September, Leanne will be participating in a daring skydive to raise funds for the National Literacy Trust. With her heart set on making a difference, she aims to boost literacy rates across the UK by supporting our charity partner.

Taking the Leap for a Good Cause:

The National Literacy Trust is a UK-based charity that works to improve literacy rates and provide equal opportunities for all by supporting children and families in disadvantaged communities. By improving literacy skills, the organisation hopes to create a brighter future for millions of children across the UK.

Leanne has chosen to make a bold statement in support of the National Literacy Trust by taking part in a thrilling skydive. This adrenaline-fueled event is not only a testament to her commitment to the cause, but also a unique and exciting way to raise awareness and funds for the charity.

How You Can Help:

Leanne has set up a fundraising page on JustGiving to help her reach her ambitious goal. By donating through the following link, you can support their nominated charity to improve literacy in the UK.
